Small, prominent seam inside presses on big toe if standing on small holds, should have gone 0.5 sizes up. Good on overhang as well as near-vertical slabs, supportive."

Instincts lv lace. Learn from my mistakes. Upside one half from your standard instinct/scarpa size. The heel is amazing, the power in the toe is fantastic. The lacing system though is dog shit, grip 2 rubber does not perform well on these, And the reworked heel drives so much more tension into the toe. You could get away with street shoe size if Instincts already fit. Going into my first resole early with edge rubber. In their current state they are almost useless. So tight. Oh god... So tight. "

My first aggresive shoe. I went with my street shoe size. It took about 7-8 sessions before they broke in. Once they did, they were perfect. Just as advertised. I have a Mortons toe and had no issues. The heel does fit as well as the toes , but that is the same with all Scarpas I own. (Instinct VS and Techno X) Regardless, I love them."

I tried 1 half size smaller, if you have a high pain tolerance you might be able to go a bit smaller, i had to settle for going up half a size to a 41. Probably stretched about half a size. Performance and fit is phenomenal, love these for anything hard. "

Size 45 fits similar to Instinct VSR in 44.5. Toebox is fairly wide. Laces help to dial in the fit.
Edges really well. Being stiff makes for a very comfortable shoe for all-day sport-climbing but the downside is some lack in sensitivity compared to a softer rubber."
