"They're great for thin crack. Also rather light; maybe too light."

"I love the heel in the Otaki better than in the Solution. "

"This is my all around show. Sized just right and not too aggressively. This my go to shoe for vertical, sport and long climbs."

"Wider toebox than other La Sportiva's I've tried. Minimal stretch from the upper over time. Fit is as tight as it could be while still staying comfortable. The toes are fully knuckled up however. Downsizing farther didn't change toebox size and instead made it more difficult to get the heel on. Can climb lead or boulder several routes in them without needing to take them off from discomfort.
The shoe performs nicely as a good all rounder."

"Fits well! Confident on edges. Not great for toe or heel hooking."

"Comfy enough fit to keep on for quite some time. Still climbed 7b in them, which is my max grade at the time of the comment"

"Semi stiff, mildely sized (1.5 down from street shoe size) with a wide toe box it is a very comfortable shoe out.
A bit spacious at the ankle but nicely fitting heel.
This size just combines good comfort and good performance not edging on any of the two sides.
Quiet some break-in and gain of sensitivity.
Really like it for rock climbing!"

"These are currently my go-to all around work horse shoe, and they have not disappointed.
I intentionally sized them a bit loose so I can use them for multi-pitch & crack climbing. I don't even bother bringing other tighter/aggressive shoes to the crag anymore. These are all I need, and they are super comfortable as a bonus.
They edge phenomenally well, and have a nice thin toe profile so i can squeeze them into thin cracks. Smearing performance probably isn't quite as good as some shoes I have used since the down turn interferes a bit, but they still smear quite well. In fact, they probably smear just as well if you just put a bit of extra pressure on your toes when smearing."

"Tight in the mid foot took extra long to break that part of the shoe in. Wearing them in the shower helped a ton.
I am extremely impressed with this shoe. I find it precise and powerful in its transfer from foot to rock. It truly feels like laser precision as the p3 platform and other internal technologies (XSEDGE) keeps this shoe stiff on edge and powerful over the big toe. I have been a diehard Miura and Testarossa fan but for vertical and slightly steep terrain this is fast becoming my go to shoe. I have not tried it on granite yet. Sizing wise i wear this in the same size as my miura and testarossa and I've been mostly happy. "

"A bit tight. Can't use them for longer than 15 minutes. Aggressive shoes. Solid feet stabilization. Great for hard grades. "

"Tight and agressive, but that's what I wanted for this shoe"

"Awesome for technical edging and great heel. Not as solid on smears, but still pretty good."

"My favorite shoe. Aggressive but comfartable, this shoe is the one I wear the most. "

"I got my first pair in 43 EU. They started comfortable and stretched to excessively loose. I couldn't precisely edge or heelhook in them. My second in 41.5 EU got my big toe and heel snug in place. Finally settled at 41 EU
The toebox is wide but flat. They're stiff and decently downturned."

"Stretched well for my wife forefoot.
Heel hooks feel firm. Toe hooks require some care. Edging and smearing are solid.
Go-to for sandstone slab, but I use these for the gym and multi pitch too. Can wear ultra-thin socks with them without much performance impact."

"I bought these as a "slightly more aggressive Katana replacement". After a few month of usage, I can confirm that these are so far the best sport climbing shoes I've used. They fit my wider forefoot surprisingly well (similarly as the Katana but even more comfortable). The heel is also superior, no baggy spots on the sides (which I had with the Katana). They are quite comfortable (I get sore feet only after a few hours of climbing given that I remove the shoes after each route) - I wouldn't take them to multipitch though.
I can probably break in and wear a half size smaller one to have a very tight (painful) performance fit but I don't see the point."

"I have had three pairs of these so far, all size 43. I wear a 12 sneaker & dress shoe, & my foot runs narrow. They have a wider toe box than miuras & a thinner toe stack. Fantastic shoe but collect odor over time."

"Toes curled down, I wouldn't go higher or lower. The shoe is the best edging and heel hooking shoe I've worn. Fantastic, tight heel and outstanding comfort. It's basically a Scarpa vapor v that is substantially better in every capacity. If only it had more rubber on top of the toes.. Wider than other Sportivas."
