" 2016 Model. Feels like a downturned Verdon. The high stiffness for edges and hooking overhanging stuff is amazing. Heel is the best 5.10 to date IMO. -5/17/16 The new 5.10 lasts are HORRIBLE to break in for non egyptian shaped feet. REALLY painful right now in my 2nd and 3rd toe. Wondering how these will break in in comparison to the Verdon, since the Quantum is synthetic vs leather on the Verdon. 5/25/16 They felt WAY better than first 2 times, puzzled on that. 10/16These are my go to for overhung edging intensive climbs. The super stiffness is great for those. When it gets really overhung I like something a little softer though. "

" Got them sized to fit pretty comfortably, size 9 gave me a hotspot on my right foot (the bigger foot of the two). These shoes stand on tiny edges and keep on going. Only wear them outdoors, would be a waste to use them in a gym. Great for face climbing and crack climbing trad routes."

" This is the best "all rounder" ever made. Essentially, the Five Ten version of the Katana Lace, but more versatile because they are softer. My go to shoe for everyday cragging. I sport and trad in this shoe 80% of the time. Minimal break in period, maybe 2 routes. Stretches about a 1/2 size (like 9.5 to a 10). This size stays snug forever."

" Velcro version, yellow and gray. One of my favorite, but I've had problems with velcro straps breaking. Decided it was worth repairing -- these things kick ass. Sep2021 - got an 8.5 which also fit all right."
