Just enough room in the toe to be comfortable descending. Great as an all around hiking/approach shoe. Too bulky and heavy to clip to your harness as a descent shoe."

Actually had Zen Mid GTX. Reasonably comfortable everywhere except back of heel; ridiculous pressure there when smearing or walking up an incline leads to bad blisters. As if they forgot to put any padding around the Achilles area or sides of the heel, so the heel of the shoe contacts my foot in a very small area low on the heel."
