"
Great for ice climbing and mountaineering boot. Can cinch them down comfortably to prevent heel slip. Good down to the upper teens F. Passable down to 0F if you're moving but stupid cold at -20F (duh). Get a good insole for these boots. Very rough on the feet if you're skinning and difficult but doable to ski in."

"
Nice and roomy in the toe, wouldn't mind a bit more lock-in in the heel. 41.5 might have been best, but they don't carry them in Japan..."

"
Feels wider than I remembered. 43 is a tiny bit small"

"
My first boot pair. With thin liner socks and thick mountaineering socks, they stay put and my feet do not shift much (0 heel drop). Will update with respect to toe kicking as I pursue ice climbing."

I didnt get a chance to test these over any period of time, but I wore the 40.5 and they were just slightly too snug. I think I'm really a 40.75, but will have to settle for 41"

"
Slightly tight. No heel lift so great for climbing. Maybe slightly small for glacier hiking."

" Perfect fit with a SuperFeet Green insole, thin liner sock and midweight Smartwool hiking sock."
